The Feilding and District Art Centre, situated near the town centre in a beautiful Edwardian building, has been the ‘beehive’ of the arts community since October 2003.
‘Have a go’ Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday morning sessions, exhibition openings, and a stream of visitors keep the Art Centre buzzing with activity. Spacious and well-lit, the Art Centre boasts two exhibition spaces for hire, with the remaining area filled with selected artworks. The highlights of the year are the Art Awards held in April 2011, the display of secondary schools’ Wearable Arts, and the FADAS Members Exhibition in October. Open Tuesday to Sunday 10 am-4 pm, the Art Centre at 35 Kimbolton Road, Feilding is a great place to visit. Paintings, woodcrafts, pottery, porcelain art and more are on sale. Free entry, though your donation helps to keep the Art Centre open, and wheelchair access. Come and enjoy a visual feast!
